This Makita 36 Volt LXT® 10 Inch dual-bevel sliding compound miter saw with laser, is powered by two X2 LXT® batteries to provide more power, speed and run time without the hassles of a cord. Miter saw has Makita built electronically controlled BL™ brushless motor to deliver 4400 RPM for rapid and smooth cutting operation. Direct drive motor increases cutting efficiency with minimal maintenance. The Automatic Speed Change™ technology aids to adjust cutting speed as well as torque during cutting. Soft start effectively suppresses start-up reaction for smooth start-ups and increased gear life. The X2 LXT® technology efficiently delivers up to 334 cuts per charge in 2×4 SPF and up to 192 cuts per charge in 2×12 SPF lumber using two 5.0 Amp-hour batteries. Miter saw features unique 2-steel rail sliding system to facilitate single slide-glide operation, where as the reduced saw footprint allows operation flush against a wall. Saw is integrated with built-in laser, which clearly indicates line-of-cut whether or not blade is turning. The 3-stage LED gauges on the tool aids to indicate battery charge levels for user convenience. Electric brake of tool aids in increasing productivity.
