The Model 63 Mechanics Chest measures 46.25 inches wide by 25 inches deep and is geared toward the mechanic. The heavy-duty top provides a handy work surface with a load capacity of 1,000 pounds, evenly distributed, and includes a removable rubber mat for protection. This rolling workbench features a heavy-duty, 16-gauge steel body and 12-gauge top and bottom, all with fully arc-welded seams. Its powder-coat finish provides industrial-grade protection against damage and corrosion, and the work surface can support the mounting of vises, pipe threaders, and more. The left side of this rolling tool chest contains three Model 471-3 (1-inch deep) drawers, four Model 472-3 (2.5-inch deep) drawers, one Model 476-3 (6-inch deep) drawer, and one Model 477-3 (1-inch deep) shelf. All drawers glide on smooth ball bearings and can hold up to 100 pounds. The open right side houses plenty of open space for larger items. A patented WATCHMAN® IV Lock system uses 2-point locking and a recessed lock housing for foot protection.
