Greenlee’s TR-12A is the first non-contact voltage detector designed specifically to test tamper-resistant receptacles. A second, non-sensing blade allows the TR-12A to open the protective shutters on these receptacles and test them for AC voltage presence. It can also be used to test conventional 120V receptacles. The TR-12A provides users with reliable voltage detection every time. Detect voltage; detect from 50V to 1000V (AC) safely and easily, just press the button. A self-timer shuts the unit off after 5 minutes of inactivity to extend battery life.
