The PLDBH Series earth augers are designed for use with the General 343H/348H Series Two Man Hole Digger and Ground Hog Earth Drills. Augers feature either the time-proven, CSA Type boring head configurations or the new LDBH Type in popular diameters. The LDBH boring heads feature one-piece steel casting configuration and the SB26 Screw Bit. Teeth are set at optimum positions to maximize digging performance. A wide range of optional teeth are available for use with specific digging applications. Augers feature the industry standard 36 In. (914 mm) effective digging length with a 0.875 In. (22 mm) square connection. Pengo-Type Boring Head Configurations Pengo-type boring head configurations offer excellent digging performance for small, hand-held type hole digging products when drilling in tough soil classifications such as sandstones, fractured limestones, caliche, compacted clays and rubbles.
