The Makita Dust Case with HEPA Filter Cleaning Mechanism (199587-8) is for use with the Makita Dust Extractor Attachment with HEPA Filter (136018-6). The Dust Case with HEPA Filter Cleaning Mechanism features a filter cleaning mechanism for OSHA Table 1 compliance with select on-board dust extractors. The efficient HEPA filtration system captures 99.75% of particulates .3 microns and larger. The 199587-8 features a transparent dust container that provides the needed visual confirmation in determining fullness. The Dust Case features the largest hold capacity in its class with up to 13.5 ounces. It is recommended that the filter cleaning dial should be turned after collecting 50,000 cubic meters of dust (equivalent to 14 holes of 3/8″ diameter by 2″ depth). It is compatible with on-board dust extractor models 136018-6 and 135905-6 (sold separately).
