The Forney Frontline™ 1A Smart Trickle Charger and Maintainer is a compact, fully automatic 6-volt and 12-volt charger designed for year-round battery care. Supporting lead-acid and lithium (LiFePO4) chemistries-including STD: Wet, EFB, MF, Ca, Deep-cycle; AGM; and Gel types -this 1-amp charger is ideal for maintaining batteries in motorcycles, ATVs, passenger vehicles, marine equipment, lawn & garden equipment, and more. The Frontline™ 1 uses smart, automatic adjustments to match your battery’s needs-no menus, no guesswork, just consistent, worry-free charging and maintenance. When dealing with heavily discharged batteries, Force Charge Mode gives you added control by allowing the charger to begin charging batteries that might otherwise sit below the normal detection threshold-helping bring stored or neglected batteries back into service. Built-in protection against reverse polarity, sparks, short-circuits, overheating, and overcharge keeps both users and equipment safe in garages, sheds, and small shops. A fixed hanging loop on the back of the charger makes it easy to hang the unit on a wall, pegboard, or under the hood for cleaner, safer cable routing during charging. A durable IP60-rated housing resists oil, grease, chemicals, UV, and abrasion, while the lightweight 0.77 lb form factor makes it easy to move between vehicles and equipment. Out of the box, the Frontline 1 includes both Frontline™ quick-connect battery clamps and Frontline™ quick-connect ring terminals (M10), so you can choose between portable connections or a semi-permanent, always-ready lead for long term use.
