The Titon series Mini-Ratchet Lever Hoist is the most compact ratchet lever hoist on the market. Performs like a larger model, but can be easily transported and stored in a tool box. All-steel construction ensures added durability and protection while providing a long service life in toughest environments. Double pawl for safety on the 1/4 ton model and also has a disc gear on the 1/2 ton model to make is efficient. Weston-type load brake and a rubber hand grip for better comfort and security. Lightweight design and compact size for confined spaces with one-hand operation. Forged upper and lower hooks with latches. Impact-resistant, all-steel frame, gear case and cover. Free-wheeling feature allows for quick load attachment. Heavy-duty cast steel latch design bulks up the base of the latch where the torque and side load stresses are greatest, this is where ordinary stamped latches fail and will bend out of compliance. The latch has a bolt and lock nut connection which simplifies changing latches in the field. Relaxed grip handle is molded from a unique engineered thermoplastic, this new grip provides a soft, tactile surface that relaxes the grip to reduce fatigue, yet durable enough to survive years of use and exposure to the elements. Every unit is inspected and tested at 150% capacity before leaving the factory in accordance with ASME B30.21 requirements.
