The Werner® 8-Foot Type-IA Fiberglass Platform Ladder has a large space for working at heights. It has a duty rating of 300 pounds for high durability. Knee braced and double riveted Traction-Tred® steps make this a reliable slip-resistant platform ladder. It has a safety guard rail to help with using the ladder properly. The 8-foot platform ladder has a large work area to stand on as well as place tools on, and the top connectors are secured by back-up plates for stability. There is a complete set of rear horizontals positioned a foot apart. The EDGE® system, which includes a molded brace and foot pad, maximizes strength and minimizes damage to the Werner platform ladder. Non-conductive rails make the ladder safe for use around electricity. The ladder is OSHA- and ANSI-approved.
