The actual life of the filter will depend on the amount of dust created each day. The JDS multi-pocket internal bag filter traps 99% of 5 micron dust particles and 91% of 1 micron dust particles. The bag filter needs changing less often than the pre-filter. Easily accessible through the access panel on the side of unit, this filter measures 12-by-24-by- 12 In.
