This innovative Fall Protection system senses a worker’s presence on an order picking vehicle, verifies their tie-off status, and communicates visual and audible alerts in real time to promote situational awareness and safe behavior. 3M™ DBI-SALA® Nano-Lok™ Connected Order Picker Self Retracting Lifeline System is a smart-connected fall protection system that can sense a worker’s presence on an order picker and detects their tie off status. The system provides workers and site safety managers with real-time visual and audible feedback based on tie-off status while on an order picker. An innovative and connected solution designed to promote safety and situational awareness for workers through Multi-Sensor Technology, which detects a workers presence on an order picker as well as their tie-off status to their harness dorsal D-ring and gate closure and lock detection. The system also incorporates Bluetooth™. 3M™ DBI-SALA® Nano-Lok™ Extended Length Self Retracting Lifelines are rugged, yet lightweight and carefully engineered devices you can count on for comfortable and efficient fall protection. Stainless steel components, an anti-ratcheting brake system and a semi-sealed design help provide the user with a system built to last. This SRL is designed so that the lifeline will extend as the user moves away and retract automatically enabling the user to move about within a recommended working area at normal speeds. Should a fall occur, a speed sensing brake system activates stopping the fall and reducing the forces imposed on the user.
