The double fast jaw of this 18-inch wrench provides dual, ratchet-like action and can help quickly loosen and tighten larger capacity pipe. This ratchet action makes it ideal and safer for tight quarters. The actual chain length is 20 1/4 inches. It is rated for pipe capacity from roughly 1/10 inch to 2 1/2 inches and has a max O. D. capacity of 5 inches. The alloy steel jaws of the Ridgid chain wrench are replaceable. Its handle is made of machined cast iron for lifetime durability and heavy wear and tear.
