Description
Modular plug-in booster cables come in three styles: plug to battery clamp, plug-to-plug extensions, and plug to lug battery connection. The idea is the plug to lug cable is installed on a service vehicle providing external access to the vehicle’s battery. That can either be connected to a plug-to-plug extension or to a plug to clamp cable that is connected to the disabled vehicle. By using plugs, cables can be protected from theft and loss, and safety is enhanced because the live connection is made away from the battery terminals.
