Baldor’s general-purpose, single-phase, enclosed TEFC motor is one of its premium efficient motors that meets NEMA’s strict industry standards for running such equipment as exhaust fans, conveyors and grain aerators. The four-pole, variable-amp Baldor AC motor delivers 1,725 RPM at single speed, running at a frequency of 60 Hertz. It has direct, on-line starting. The Baldor motor has a steel housing with several other features to provide protection from the elements. Weep holes wick condensation away, while a cast-iron conduit box with gasket protects wiring connections. The nearly 1,800-RPM motor also has a V-ring that expels contaminants away from the endplate and a lip seal on the shaft insert to keep pollutants from entering the housing. Double-sealed, low-friction bearings never need greasing, and a tan epoxy paint protects against rust.
